When I talk to marketers about their copywriting they often mention two problems. One practical. One technical. Either they lack the bandwidth to do the job in-house, or they're looking outside for the expertise that gets results.

I specialise in direct response
communications like email marketing, direct mail, advertising, and website home pages. Most of my work is designed to generate leads or sales, but I
also write brochures, solution sheets, case studies, and
information offers like white papers and e-books.
Ten years experience in planning and research at
top advertising agency BBDO and new product consultancy CLK, combined with
twelve years teaching English and Information Technology, make me your ideal
copywriting colleague for your marketing work.
In addition to quickly grasping complex technical detail, I believe deeply in the input of sales people and customers to help shape your
sales and marketing messages.
On two projects I’ve helped
a European software firm develop their marketing materials for launch into the
U.S. market, and I’ve written materials for a Danish software firm for
pan-European delivery.
And
as a graduate of the American Writers & Artists Institute’s (AWAI)
copywriting programme I continue to work with copywriting coach Chris
Marlow, whom many regard as the best software copywriter in the U.S.
