About Simon
Simon Rudge works
with software and high-tech marketers to develop strategies, offers and concepts
that optimise lead generation, improve marketing return on investment and
increase revenues.
I’m available for copywriting of direct mail packages, sales
letters, product brochures, datasheets, case studies, white papers, ads, email
marketing campaigns, PR materials and web pages.
Ten years experience in planning and research at
top advertising agency BBDO and new product consultancy CLK, combined with
twelve years teaching English and Information Technology, make me your ideal
copywriting colleague for your next software marketing work.
In addition to quickly grasping complex technical detail, I
believe deeply in the input of sales people and customers to help shape your
sales and marketing messages.
On two projects I’ve helped
a European software firm develop their marketing materials for launch into the
U.S. market, and I’ve written materials for a Danish software firm for
pan-European delivery.
And
as a graduate of the American Writers & Artists Institute’s (AWAI)
copywriting programme I continue to work with copywriting coach Chris
Marlow, whom many regard as the best software copywriter in the U.S.
I’m based in South
West London, just five minutes from the M3 and the M4, and as well as computing and writing I enjoy languages, travel,
sports and music.
